Frequently Asked Questions
- Who needs a financial advisor?
Anyone who wants to be strategic with their money should think about getting outside advice. This ranges from young people who want to put their own, or borrowed, money into investments rather than the bank, to older people who may be about to retire. As well as anyone looking to have more control over their super, protecting their assets and income via life insurance and income protection cover, venturing into the property market or sharemarket who doesn’t have the time, expertise or confidence to do it on their own.
- How much does it cost for the first meeting?
There is no cost for the first meeting. It allows us to have a general conversation regarding your current situation and to determine if we are able to provide an effective service for potential clients both in the short and long term.
- Will I be locked into a contract for any period of time?
No, there is no minimum contract period that applies. If you decide to cease all services and advice, we will cease fees and service as soon as practical.
- How do I know Elevated Financial will add value?
Working in conjunction with your accountant, we are able to identify areas that could potentially add value to your circumstances. These areas would be identified at the first consultation free appointment.
- Can’t I just do this myself?
Amateurs have shown they can be successful in managing investments themselves, but like anything though, it is having the time and the expertise to know that the financial decisions you make are the right ones. Having an advisor allows you to make the right decisions about your financial future and gives you piece of mind.
- How does Elevated Financial get paid?
Elevated Financial operate under a fee-for-service arrangement. Prior to any work being undertaken, a fee is agreed to by all parties. This fee is paid by you, or via your superannuation fund. Elevated Financial do not accept investment commissions.
